The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is an intergovernmental organization offering migration management assistance to governments and migrants worldwide. Founded in 1951, IOM currently has 125 full member states and 94 observers, including 18 State and 76 global and regional IGOs and NGOs. IOM maintains more than 430 field offices in over 120 countries worldwide and has over 6,690 staff under contract, working on more than 2030 projects. IOM headquarters is in Geneva, Switzerland.
